How insurance works here, what things cost without it, and how to spread out a larger bill.

The short answer

We work with most dental insurance plans and check your benefits before you come in. No insurance? A new patient exam with X-rays and a cleaning is $179, membership plans start at $229 a year, and Cherry financing is available for larger treatment.

If you have dental insurance

Give us your plan name and member ID when you book, online or by phone at (480) 991-3244. We’ll check what your plan covers before your visit, file the claim for you, and tell you your share before any treatment starts.

Most plans cover cleanings and exams in full or close to it, and pay part of fillings, crowns and root canals. Cosmetic work such as veneers and whitening is rarely covered.

Insurance and payment questions

Do you take my dental insurance?

We work with most dental insurance plans. Call (480) 991-3244 with your plan name and member ID, or enter them when you book online, and we'll check your benefits before your visit.

Will you file the claim for me?

Yes. We send the claim to your insurance company and you pay your share, such as a copay or the part your plan doesn't cover, at the visit.

Does insurance cover veneers, whitening or Invisalign?

Veneers and whitening are cosmetic, so insurance almost never pays for them. Some plans include an orthodontic benefit that can go toward Invisalign. We'll check yours.

What if I don't have insurance?

Our membership plans cover routine care for a yearly fee: $229 for children 13 and under, $379 for ages 14 and up, and $629 for gum maintenance. Each includes cleanings, exams, yearly X-rays, an emergency exam and 20% off most other treatment. There are no deductibles or waiting periods.

Can I pay over time?

Yes. Cherry patient financing lets you split larger treatment into monthly payments. Checking whether you qualify does not affect your credit score.
